| A grin spread across my eager face as I cross-hatched to shade her face. Every curve, every inch of her was perfect.. Her light-colored hair was excellently draped over her shoulders. And her facial expression showed so clearly that she was into the book. It was a perfect moment. I moved down and sketched her legs hugged close against her body. Next to come was the book, and then her hands. After a little bit of erasing and re-drawing, I got the hands the way I saw fit. I glanced up for the first time in a few minutes for reference... So far, I didn't think I was doing too bad at all. | |

| I was still into the book, flipping pages after I read them. My eyes showed eagerness. Then sadness as a sad part in the story came. I read and read, my eyes literally flying over the page. I moved a little bit and something crunched in my shorts pocket. I reached down with my left hand and felt that it was a chewy bar I had left there the day before yesterday, what do ya know, haha. I pulled it out and dropped it into my bag, then went back to reading, I'd eat it later. | |

| I let out a satisfied sigh as I pulled the sketch away from my face and looked over every inch of it. It wasn't the best thing in the world, for sure... But it most defiantly was one of my better Human drawings. I spun around so that I was facing the way I was before, and flipped the Sketch of Crystal underneath the half-done graphic drawing. | |

| I was one page away from the end of the book.. Which made me sad, yet excited I was going to finish it. At that moment, I saw movement out of the corner of my eye and I lifted my gaze. And guess who I saw. Zac. I smiled lightly to myself, then went back to reading, I just had to finish this book before I went over. I finished the last page and sighed satisfactorily. I then tossed it into my bag and jumped quietly off the rock. I kicked off my flip flops and padded over to Zac, flopping down beside him and peeking over his shoulder. "Hello stranger!"I laughed gently. "Ooh, nice design!" I commented and smiled. | |

| I glanced back over my shoulder as I heard the sand shifting behind me. "Hey," I laughed. I looked down at my paper, almost unfamiliar with the image since It wasn't what I was working on. "Oh, thanks." I said with a half-smile. "When did you get here?" I acted as if I hadn't even known she was there. | |

| "Truthfully I have no idea.. All I know is that I came here and started reading...And I was so into the book time sort of flew by.." I laughed gently. "Sooo.... Whats up??" I just randomly asked looking at the sand as I picked it up and let it slid out, and did that over and over again. I shifted slightly and looked towards the ocean, and glanced over at my things. How i never noticed Zac in the first place was beyond me. I laughed a little too myself. | |

| I chuckled. "I know the feeling. I was a little into my drawing, too, you could say." I put my hands behind me, on the sand and rest my weight on them. "So.. How did you sleep last night?" I asked randomly with a half-smile. | |

| "Good.. I fell asleep while watching this one chick flick.. I have no idea what it was called.. but it was lousy.. " I laughed gently. "What about you?" I asked, leaning on my right hand as I placed it in the sand beside him, and sifted sand through my left hand. I watched as a little crab made it's way down the beach and too the water. It was soon out of sight. I shifted my weight a bit then looked at him. | |

| "Dozed off on the couch as well," I laughed at the irony and looked at Crystal. It was kind of incredible seeing her again... Sure, we could have just as easy given each other our phone numbers and purposely met up. But where it the fun in that? It's funner to play with fate. | |

| I laughed gently. "How interesting.. Was there a chick flick playing?" I asked jokingly and looked around. "Soooo..." I glanced down at his sketch book. "Can I see what else you've drawn?" I asked curiously and leaned forward a bit, looking up at him hopefully. Then down at the sketch book. | |

| "Uhh.." I hesitated, also glancing down at the book. "Sure." I purposely, and smoothly skipped over my most recent drawing, and onto a design. It was four horses. One running down, one running to the left, one running to the right, and one jumping upward. Each was colored and created according to the Four elements: Fire, water, air and earth. It was sketchily colored in with pastels, and was a high-contrast drawing. "There's one of my more recent ones.. I'm gonna see what the designers for Hot topic think of it for a shirt." I commented on it, and waited for her to see so I could change the page. | |

| "I will totally buy that shirt if they say yes!" I said enthusiastically. "It looks awesome!" I said, "The color.. and of course, the Horses, I adore horses." I smiled and looked at the drawing. I had noticed that there was an extra page he had skipped over. I didn't say anything, but was really curious what it was.. Probably a drawing of his girlfriend or something. Or maybe an unfinished design. Whatever it was, I was curious. | |

| "I like it." I also noticed a few flaws. "You could probably shade it in a little more over here.. maybe... if you want.."(If That's ok...) I added quickly, I didn't want to sound too.... well, yeah. I bit my lip. "But all in all it's very nice.. Nice shape..." I said, smiling encouragingly. | |

| "Thanks," I said with a smile. I, too thought the ANATOMY (*cough cough*) could use come work there, too. I flipped shut the pad, and stuffed it back into my bag. "So.. you up for a walk down the beach?" I asked, looking back at her. | |

| "Sure! All for it!" I said enthusiastically and jumped up, accidentally getting sand on him. "Whoops.. Little over excited there.. sorry about that.. "I laughed gently and offered him my hand to help him up. (Sorry it's short, dads bugging me to leave the library lol) | |

| I laughed as I stood up, brushing the majority of the sand off of my jeans. "Its fine." I playfully replied, pulling a tuff of my hair out of my eye. "C'mon," I put my art bag on the ground, leaning against a large rock. I bent down and pulled off one shoe at a time, then took my socks off and stuffed them into the shoes. "No use ruining my converse." I chuckled, and then rolled up the bottoms of my jeans a little bit. If we were gonna walk along the beach, we were gonna do it right. | |

| I laughed gently nodding. I wiggled my toes in the sand, enjoying the feeling. I smiled lightly and looked around waiting for him. I put my flip flops up on the rock where the rest of my stuff was and looked at Zac. "Ready?" I asked tilting my head, I slipped out of my sweatshirt, it was getting to hot to wear it out here. I tossed it onto the rock also and looked up at the sky, enjoying the feeling of the sun. | |

| (Blah! lol)
I looked around then began to walk towards the water, grabbing his arm and tugging him along (if that's ok). I got to the water then turned and started walking down the beach, walking on the wet sand where the water came up in small waves and soaked the sand. I smiled lightly over at Zac and then looked down. | |

| I chuckled gently as she tugged my arm, and graciously followed. Each time she looked at me, I smiled bigger. Without even meaning to, really... I looked out to the ocean and squinted at the morning sun. "It's beautiful out here.. much better than yesterday." I said, talking a little loud so I could be heard over the waves. | |

| "I know! Yesterday it was all...gloomy.." Yeah that was the word. "But it was still beautiful non the less, but today it's just even more beautiful because of the sun and all." I said, glancing at him, seeing that his smile had grown considerably, making me blush a little. I bit my lip and smiled also. "So.. what do you like to do on your spare time?" I asked randomly. | |

| I laughed. "I agree," I said, glancing down at the ground for a moment as we walked. "Needless to say, going for walks.. but other than that." I chuckled. "I like to take photos, sometimes... And watching TV is always a liable option." I joked, and raised my head to once again face her. "What about yourself?" | |

| I laughed along with him, listening with interest. I laughed when he mentioned TV and nodded a little. "The only time TV is interesting is when there is something good on." I commented, "Hmm, well lets see.. I like photography, sometimes I just go on walks and snap random photos here and there. It's very entertaining." I put on a thoughtful face. "I also like the computer, I do this literature type thing, roleplaying, I'm REALLY into that. It keeps my mind going... And I have other things.. less interesting of course.. sleeping..eating.. yeah." I laughed gently at the last few things and then shrugged. "So that about covers it." | |

| I raised an eyebrow as I listened. "Wow. Sleeping, eating, TV? Where have you been all my life?" I joked, laughing lightly afterwards. "Sounds cool.. i'm no good at it, but I do enjoy looking at photos. Only if well taken, that is." I hated to sound snobby.. But a good photo was a good photo. and a bad one was.. well.. bad. | |
