The City -Garf&Donna-

I laughed and rolled my eyes playfully. "I don't know...." I said and laughed a little, "Yeah same here, it really annoys me when they're blurry and stuff.. I'm picky that way!" I said and smiled. Then shrugged. "My favorite type of photography is nature, plants and animals.. The usual.."(Sorry it's short, I gtg D=)

"Picky is sometimes OK." I assured her with a laugh. "So... What brought you to Boston?" The question, for some reason, just popped into my mind. "Family, friends, work plans?"

I laughed at what he said then thought for a second. "I don't know.. I guess I just wanted to come here... I heard it was beautiful here. So.. yeah...I just sort of.. Ended up here.. And so far, I'm loving it." I said nodding and laughing a little. "What about you?" I asked. (Sorry it's so short lol)

I nodded and smiled. "Understandable.. It is a great city." I said, just before she mirrored my question. "Friend, originally... But he moved out as soon as I moved in." I shrugged and rolled my eyes a bit. "But it worked out.. I ended up falling in love with it."

(I thought he was going to say, 'I ended up falling in love with someone' when I started reading it , I was like O.o.. Oh.. lolz)

"Oh..well, why'd he move out?" I asked curiously. "I don't want to be nosy or anything.. just curious why anyone would be crazy enough to leave this beautiful place." I laughed lightly and sighed, kicking the sand as I walked, the cool water came up and got my feet wet, but they instantly warmed up in the sun.

"I don't know. I guess he thought Pennsylvania better suited him." I answered as I set my gaze down to our wettest feet. "And don't worry about being nosy, it's fine." I laughed subtly.

I nodded. "I have some family that lives in Pennsylvania, I've never gone there but my cousins are trying to drag me over there and visit for a while. I've seen pictures, it's nice there." I said and shrugged. "Well, now it's my turn to ask you questions, You've been asking them all and I answer then turn them back to you! Now I'm first!" I laughed gently thinking for a small moment. "Where did you grow up? Yes that's random, but the best way to get to know someones is to ask questions.. so..yeah." I laughed gently.

I laughed at the way she saw it. "Alright, fair enough.." I smirked, and waited for the question. Once she asked it, I stopped and thought about my answer for a moment. "A bunch of different places actually.." I said. "I was born in Pittsburgh, then my family moved to Cincinnati when I turned two... A year later we moved to Chicago, and then back to Ohio three years after that." I counted with my fingers as I went on. "After my dad died, we moved to North carolina and stayed there for a while. Once I graduated college from there, I came here." I just then realized how long-ish my answer actually was. "And now I play your part..." I chuckled. "What about you?"

"Wow, quite the traveler huh?" I laughed gently at the last thing he said. "Well, I grew up in Alaska, traveled to South America a lot with my family, and visited family here and there in the states, but it was hard, I had to move away from Alaska after living there 14 years of my life, then I went to Michigan, and from there South America, I had quite the traveling life. But I'm over and done with that." I laughed gently. "Now.. another.. Ever traveled out of the states?" I asked tilting my head.

I nodded as I listened to her. My eyes widened at the places she'd been. "Whoa." I said. "No, actually I haven't... Haven't even been to Canada." I laughed quietly. "South america.. wow. Was it fun?" I inquired.

"I lived down there half a year it was very different, in the small town where I live they stared at me because of my skin and hair color, and they just stared at my eyes. It was.. interesting.." I laughed gently. "I went to Canada once.. When I was very little. I went to this one park.. I have no idea which one.. But I know I went." I said shrugging and laughing. "Hmmmm.. What else can I ask you..?!" I thought a moment. "How about...Favorite food?!?" I laughed at my odd question then shrugged. "Oh well, what the heck, might as well ask while I still can, otherwise two years down the road. "Whats your favorite food? Whats your favorite color." I mimicked my own voice and laughed gently.

I nodded, my smile fading only vaguely when I heard her mention the small town. I let out understanding 'mhm's just to let her know I was still listening. "Favorite food?" I laughed, thinking about it. "Sushi, defiantly. And right after that... Pasta. And just to kill two birds with one stone, my favorite color is blue." I used hand gestures as I spoke, and laughed as well. "You know the drill.... what are yours?" I added jokingly. It was kind of nice having someone I could just chill and joke around with. I hadn't had it in a while.

"EYUCK! Sushi?! Eeeeeeeeeeewww. Ever since my aunt gave me sushi with fish eggs I run at the sight of it, I'm not big on the whole fishy taste!" I laughed gently scrunching my nose. "But of course, everyone has different tastes." I smiled. "But I absolutely love pasta! Italian food is delicious, Lasagna is one of my faves.. I also love Mexican food.." Then I listened as he spoke. "Oooh, blue. Nice taste! I like blue too, but it's more in the teal and aquamarine area." "Now.. What else can I ask you?" I asked mostly myself looking thoughtful. "OK.. your turn, I'm blank." I laughed.

I couldn't help but crack up at her reaction to the sushi. "It really isn't that bad." I laughed. "Italian food is amazing.. Always have loved it."
"Hmm, more ideas?"I pondered, looking around for any ideas. "Favorite TV show? Since obviously we both enjoy that subject."

I laughed gently. "Well, then I might just have to try it again." I shrugged and smiled. "Ooh, favorite TV show.. I like.. Night Rider, and Psych. I have others but I don't pay attention to their names." I said laughing gently. "What about yours?" I stopped walking and looked out at the ocean, it took my breath away how beautiful all of Gods creations were.

"Both good shows," I commented as I looked out to the ocean as well. "Burn notice is a good one... Navy: NCIS is also real good. And CSI: Miami. That pretty much tops it off."

"Ooh, I love CSI, great show.. You know they have a few computer games out that's CSI, they're pretty cool." I commented smiling lightly. I rubbed my arms as a small breeze picked up, I stifled a small yawn and my stomach rumbled. I remembered my chewy back on the rock and bit my lip.

I caught on to her small yawn, and let out a long one as well. "You hungry?" I just barely heard a rumbling noise... but figured it was her stomach. I glanced out to the bright sea for a few moments, and then turned my attention back to her and waited for a response.

"Is it that noticable?!" I laughed gently. "I guess I forgot to get breakfast on my way out this morning. I shrugged. "I don't know why I was in such a hurry to get out.. Oh well." I laughed and shrugged t off.

"Nah, just my sixth sense I guess." I laughed. "You know what? I didn't either.. Guess I was a little too inspired to draw." I said, glancing up toward the city that was now somewhat far off. "You want to head to Quincy market?" I offered, a grin across my face. "They have the BEST food there."

"Quincy Market?" I asked tilting my head slightly curiously. "Is that like a restaurant.. or.. well, a market where they sell food? er... sorry, I'm confusing myself. Bust, Yes of course, I'd love to." I said smiling lightly. I looked back at where I left my stuff, "Race ya.." I challenged turning and smirking lightly.

My eyes widened. "You haven't been to Quincy market?" I asked, honestly shocked. I raised an eyebrow as she challenged me to a race. "You're on. On your mark... Get set... GO!"

"Nope...." I answered quickly before I was off. I ran fast, but on sand it was hard and it slowed me down a considerable amount. (Sorry it's short, I don't want to PP.. lol)

I watched her set off across the beach, and then began running fast as I could myself. Sand went flying behind me as I kicked off the sand, continuously trying as hard as I could to move myself faster... but on an unsteady surface, it just wasn't that easy!

I almost stumbled as I ran, I was slowing down a good amount as the unsteady surface tired me a lot faster. I laughed gently as he was already right beside me (is that ok?). I was slowing, but I pushed myself faster, this would build up an appetite for Quincy market. I breathed steadily so I wouldn't be breathing hard.
