| [Its fine. XD]
As I ran, I glanced up toward the sidewalk at the very top of the beach. Two business people.. a couple, by the looks of it, were sitting on a bench with their small laptops propped on their laps. Both of them looked down upon Crystal and I, shaking their heads with disaproval. It actually kind of made me think... How could anyone be happy with a relationship like that? If you can't take of your shoes and go for a run on the beach with someone you love, what fun is it?
...
Okay I take back the 'love' part... Make that 'someone you enjoy being with that is the opposite sex'. I could have face-palmed myself right there just knowing that the word love even came to my mind at that time... I had only met her yesterday! I stopped about 5 feet from the rock, kicking my feet down so that a spray of sand shot forward from my feet. "Whew.." I panted with a laugh, glancing over at Crystal. It was pretty even, if you ask me... [Is it ok that I made it end?] But if anyone won, it most definitely was her. "You're fast." I said, trying to catch my breath.

| (Totally fine, running's boring anyway lol)
I flopped onto the sand panting. "You're fast too!" I laughed gently, also noticing the couple. I shook my head too myself. Life wasn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it was about learning to dance in the rain. Or run on the beach.. Or sing into your hair brush! I dunno! Life was about being ALIVE! I sighed and stood up, I gathered my things and slipped into my flip flops. I also picked up his art bag and held it out to him "Here you go." I said with a light smile. My eyes grew wide when the sketch book was going to fall, I quickly moved forward and managed to halfway catch it before it hit the ground, it flopped open in my hands, and came to a sketch, of a girl it seemed, reading a book, it looked sort of like me. I looked at it, my eyes soft and curious. (The sketch of her)

| [SNAYUP.]
I was smiling as I reached forward to grab a hol' of my art bag, but stopped as I saw her nearly drop my sketch pad. I sighed loudly with relief once I saw she caught it... but wasn't exactly off the hook. My eyes widened, and I stopped breathing for a moment. "Uhh.." I loudly staggered, reaching forward to snatch the sketch pad from her hands. I almost carelessly shoved the picture of the four horses down over the picture of her, and then closed the sketch pad. Instantaneously, a big, fat cheesy smile overcame my face. And no doubt I was probably blushing too. "I drew a picture of my... sister.." I lied through my teeth. "She gave me five bucks for it... Haven't.. gotten it to her yet..""

| I was a little startled as he took it from my hands. I noticed his blush and the cheesy smile. Hah! Fat chance! I knew he was lying, his face and blush and everything gave him all away. It was most likely his girlfriend or something. Gosh, she looks a lot like me. A perplexed look came to my eyes then instantaneously disappeared. "Oh, cool.." I said shrugging it off, biting the inside of my cheek. | |

| I sensed that she knew I was lying... but refused to let myself tell her that I had drawn her. There was no better way to make myself appear as 'the creepy stalker guy who draws almost total strangers'. I quietly leaned down and slipped my converse back onto my feet, and lifted my art bag up onto my shoulder. "C'mon... You must be starving." I tried my best to flip over the subject. | |

| A few thoughts ran though my head as I waited for him. He had seemed nervous, and jumpy almost. I stood there silently as out of the corner of my eye I watched him slip on his shoes then hoist his bag up and onto his shoulder. "C'mon... You must be starving." Were his words. I nodded. "Yes, very." I laughed gently and adjusted my bag on my shoulder also. I gathered my book and stuffed it in carelessly. Still thinking about the drawing. | |

| I let a very small smile come across my face as I began walking beside her. I wanted so badly to apologize for my behavior... but there was no liable excuse. And what would I be to do should she ask if it was of her? I pulled a strand of hair out of my face and looked up ahead. The snooty couple was gone at least.. | |

| I glanced at him from the corner of my eyes and smiled lightly. Even though I had just met him yesterday, I felt like I've know him a while now. I knew a lot about him dew to all the questions and what not. I bit my lip as I walked and stared at my feet. | |

| I leaned forward very slightly as I trudged myself up the small hill, almost to the sidewalk... After that we just needed to take a short walk to old Boston, and Quincy market was right around the corner.
[Btw, Quincy market is a hall with a TON of food vendors. I really have been there! It is amazing. <3]

| (sweet. ) I followed his lead and reached the sidewalk, still silent as ever. I bit my lip and looked around. Well this was awkward.. Well, I had summed up that, that had been the drawing he had skipped over, and that he didn't want me to see it. Obviously. But what I didn't understand was... Why? | |

| I bit my bottom lip harder as we continued to walk up on the concrete sidewalk. The silence was killing me. "So... what are you in the mood for?" I asked in a quiet voice. | |

| "I dunno.. What do they usually have?" I asked curiously looking at him and offering him a friendly smile. I could tell he was slightly uncomfortable, why make it worse? I stuffed my hands into my sweatshirt pocket and continued walking, another small yawn escaped. | |

| "Oh, everything.." I looked away from her and ahead once again. "Chinese, Japanese, American, Mexican.. Junk food, anything you can think of, really." I replied. I had only been there a few times, as the prices were a little bit higher than your regular food... but I at least knew the kinda of stuff there were there. Suddenly, the thought of babies popped into my mind... gosh, they were sometimes so sticky and annoying! [Lol, Danni. XDD That was a joke. Not officially a part of my post.] | |

| I nodded. "Interesting... Maybe I'll have some Mexican food... tacos or burritos." I said shrugging. "What do you usually get? Or do you get different stuff each time?"
(short! sorry lol) | |

| "Different stuff each time.." I answered, a small smile pulling at the corner of mu lips. I tried to ease myself, and her out of the Awkward silence... I hated them so much. "So.. How old are you exactly?" I asked, finding it quite funny that we hadn't even shared our ages. | |

| "I'm 20.. What about you." I asked tilting my head and looking at him. I had meant to ask t his question, but it seemed sort of odd coming from a girl. Like she was trying to flirt or something. When in truth she wasn't she was just wanting to know exactly how old he was. | |

| "Twenty-one." I answered, letting out a mental sigh of relief. Thank god she wasn't a mature-looking 16 year old, or a young-looking 30 year old! "Kind of relieving." I chuckled. | |

| I laughed gently. "Haha, yeah." I felt something vibrating in my bag. I shoved my hand in and pulled out my vibrating cell phone. A guys picture showing on the screen, I got an excited look on my face. I hit the green button and looked at Zac, "Hold on a second." I said with a smile. "Hello?" I asked. "Hey John." I smiled. "How is college? Yeah yeah, I'm in Boston with a friend." It was my younger brother, John. | |

| "Okay," I graciously agreed and stopped walking. I shifted my messenger bag's weight on my shoulder and silently waited for her to finish her phone call. Deep inside I was just seeping with curiosity.... Who is John? | |

| "Oh... You better get back to class!" I laughed gently. I rarely ever talked to my brother, and when I did, he was either late for something, or was in the middle of something. I smiled too myself. "Well, yeah, I'll talk to you later." "Yeah, love you. Byee! Say Hi to Jeremiah for me" I said smiling and hanging up. I smiled too myself literally beaming. I sat there thinking for a moment, then I realized that Zac must be curious. "Oh, that was my brother.. He's in college, John. Jeremiah is his good friend and also a good friend of mine." I said and smiled. "I rarely talk to them, so it's exciting for me." I laughed. | |

| I let out, yet another, mental sigh of relief. After a couple seconds of waiting for her to finish speaking, I spoke myself. "That's great!" I said, returning a bright smile back to her. "Glad you got to talk to him." I continued walking very slowly, and waited for her to catch up. | |

| I caught up to him easily and stared at my feet as I walked. "Oh, another wuestion!" I said enthusiastically. "Have any siblings?" I asked lookign at him curiously. The sun beat down on me and caused me to burn up inside my sweatshirt. I removed it and draped it over my left arm as I walked, waiting for his answer. | |

| I raised my eyebrows as I heard her mention another question, and listened intently. "Siblings? Oh, of course. Two brothers, and an older sister." I replied with a smile. "I have Jake, who is 12... Then there's Jamie, the newest addition... He is only 18 months old. And Brittney is my older sister, she is 23 years old, and out of the house as well... She lives in California." | |
