Oak Ridge Academy II

Shane grasped her hand gently and bit his lip. "i'm so sorry.." He said, just as he did in the ambulance, But he felt like he couldn't say it enough..

She pulled her hand backand frowned. "Shane, stop saying that." She said her eyes serious. She closed her eyes and clasped both of her hands together.

"I Can't" Shane sighed and sat down in the chair next to her bed, Staring at the ground. "How do you feel?.." He asked in a Soft tone, looking up at her.

"Yes you can," She said strubbornly. "I feel drowsy, and my leg is numb." She stated and looked away formhim.

"Um.. Why are you mad at me?.." shane asked in a low tone, a Little bit confused as he looked at her, even though she wasn't looking back at him.

"I hatethat word. Sorry, sorry sorry sorry, it's all i ever hear anymore, whenever someone does somting wrong sorry, no one laughs anything off anymore, and now, whne i'm hurt and it isn't even your fault, here you are tellingme sorry?!" She said frustrated, tears trickled down her cheeks, she hated the word.

"How Can I Laugh you're being hurt off??" Shane asked in a Frustrated tone, wiping the miserable look off his face and replacing it with an angry one.

"I didn't mean that, Shane, you just say sorry for the simplest things, all you had to do was say your sorry once.--If you wanted to-- then just move on." She said, looking at Shane, she say his angry look and bit her lip. "Ugh. I'm sorry. Just...ignore me." She said angry at herself. She slammed her head back on her pillow and shut her eyes holding back her tears.

"I-..' shane started and Stood up, looking down, He knew he would regret doing this.. "I Gotta go." He finished. "i'll come back tomorrow..-bye" He said and sighed unnoticeably, walking out of them room, He shut the door quietly behind him.

"Bye." She said shortly, her vice choked, she felt like her heart had been stabbed and wedged in half. Her chest actually hurt now. She let the tears trickle down her cheeks again,not even opening her eyes.

Shane waited a few seconds before Letting go of the knob, Then walked down the hall, Just staring at the ground, he hands in his pockets, he felt a Tear drip down his cheek, and saw it fall to the ground,h e wiped his face with his hand and put it back in hi pocket, coming out to the waiting room, he looked around, then walked out the main exit.

A taxi took the chance as he saw Shane and pulled up to the curb. "Need a ride Young man? I bet your headed for The Academy, that's a long ways away." He stated and smiled warmly.

Maureen sniffled loudly and pressed the red button beside her bed.

the nurse came almost imediatly and looked at Maureen. "Oh you poor dear, is the pain unbearable. Lemme give you a pain killer.." "No no!" Maureen said hurriedly, 'i just had trouble with....with....my...friend.." She said, and looked away. The nurse nodded, 'That what can i help you with at the moment sweetpea?" She asked in a motherly voice, she looked around in her 50's and was very pleasant. "When can i get out of here?" Maureen asked carefully. "Not for two more days." Said the nuse with an apologetic smile. "B-" "Not buts deary, i'm sorry." She said softly and left the room.

Shane looked back and Forth, then nodded and got in the backseat of the taxi, slamming the door shut, He pulled out his wallet, and handed the Driver 20 Dollars, putting his wallet back in his pocket, He leaned his elbow on the door and sighed.

(Time skip) An hour later))


Maureen had fallen asleep earlier. And is still sleeping soundly.

The taxi driver pulled through the gates of the academy, and pulled up beside the boarding building. "Thanks for your service." Said the man grateful.

Shane nodded and climbed out, shutting the door, He looked up at the Academy, and Sighed gently, running in a Jog to the Dorm hallway entrance.

The taxi driver shruggedand backed up, turning around and driving out of the gates nad onto the dirt road, then out of sight.


Maureen was still sleeping silently. But she was dreaming. She was walking at he edge of a humogous pool. When her foot slipped. She fell into the water and a chill went up her back, she looked around, she counld't breath she was falling into darkness, her bed was falling with her, she was screaming but no one could hear- She awoke with start, her breathing hard and she was in a cold sweat. More tears tickled down her cheeks and she closed her eyes holding back her silent miserable sobs.

[eeeep! O:]

Shane walked into his Dorm and flopped on the bed, face-down. He just laid there.. Right now, Living seemed pointless.. He sat up and looked around his Dorm, looked just the Same, he flopped back again, this time laying on his back, and stared at the ceiling.

(Scary huh? O.O)

Maureen bit her lip gently and laid her head back on the pillow. breathing hard, she was cold and stick all over, her cast was clamy and uncomfortable. More tears came, yeah, she was feeliong sorry for herself.

[yeah..
you ever have those times when your laying, half asleep.. and you're like, walking down stairs of something and you miss one, and you slip. and then you like, jump and wake up? i hate that >.<]



Shane sighed softly and Sat up, not even knowing what to do now.. He Grabbed his phone and dialed in His Brother's Number.

"Hello?" His Brother Answered on the phone.
"Hey [umm..umm..UMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!] Kev" [KEVIN!!!!!!!!!!!?!?!?!?!?!!??!?!?! :XD:] Shane replied.
"Shane?.. Do you know it is 5AM here?" Kevin asked and yawned.
"Sorry.." Shane replied. "I Just need some advice?.."
"Shoot" Kevin replied and sat up in his bed.
shane told him everything tghat had happened.. (too much to type ._.)
"YOU LEFT?!" Kevin screamed into the phone. "Why on EARTH did you LEAVE her?!"
"She was being Rude!!" Shane replied and bit his lip.
"Rude, or reasonable? you don't ALWAYS Have to Apologize.. Doesn't really make anything better.." Kevin sighed.
"It makes it seem better.. and if it was my fault its only Right to Apologize."
"Dude, Go to bed Tonight, and TOMORROW MORNING Get Your LAzy Butt out of bed, and Go See her" Kevin ordered. "I Mean it, do exactly that"
"And What if I don't want to forgive her?.." Shane asked and scowled internally.
"you're the one always apologizing, Shane.. Don't you usually want people to Forgive you?" Kevin asked in a Soft tone. "I gotta go, Good night.." He said quickly and hung up.
"Kev Don't-!" Shane said, but was cut off by the Dial tone. "ugh..' He said to himself and laid back down.

More tears trickled down her cheeks, she groaned and looked at her leg, sighing and wincing in pain. She closed her eyes tightly and feel asleep long after.

Shane rolled onto his side so he was Facing the plain white Wall, and Slowly Fell asleep while staring at it, his dorm completely silent.

(TIME.....9:00PM)

(Time Skip 9:30AM)

Maureen was still asleep.

(longest post i've ever made. hahah)

Shane rolled over and yawned, he opened one eye and looked at the clock, then shut it and Reached around the Bed for covers, although there were none cause he didn't even get under the blanket when he fell asleep, He rolled over and shut his eyes tighter, falling back asleep.

(I was having a blonde moment... Hehehehe)

Maureen coughed as she slowly awoke. her leg throbbing, she woke just in time to see a nurse remove a needle fromher arm. "Ooow." She groaned rubing that spot on her arm. "it's a pain killer." The nurse explained. "It'll ease the pain." She smiled helpfully then left. Maureen sighed and looked around the room, and at the clock, the big neon red numbers read. '9:34' She yawned and looked at the seat beside her bed then at the door, still no Shane.

Shane sighed and crawled under the covers, His conscience wasn't exactly helping him go to sleep.. He tossed, and Turned over and Over before sitting up in bed And jerking the covers off himself. Looking around sleepily, He rubbed his eyes and scratched his head, then stood up and stretched his Arms out.
