She bit her lip and looked at her feet. "I truthfully don't know. I was...adopted." She said with a small shrugged.

shane instantly raised his head and faced Maureen. "Ohmigosh I am so Sorry.." he said quickly with wide eyes.

"Shane, Shane, Shane. Clam yourself, it's fine, i've learned to live with it." She said smiling up at him, she quickly leaned forward and pecked him on the cheek. "You don't have to be sorry." She said and shifted her weigth on her crutches.

"sorry.." Shane said and looked down, slouching his shoulders as he pulled at the inside of his hoodie's pockets. "you're turn.." He said softly without looking up.

She stared at him for a while. "I'm not going to ask you anythign untill you wipe that sad look off your face." She said stubbornly, she hated seeing him sad like this. It was terrible to her.

"What look?.." Shane asked and kept walking, still not looking up.

SHe pursed her lips. "That.....sad...sorry...look." She said softly, her gaze was soft as it lingered on him.

"Sorry.." Shane said in a low tone, then scowled internally as he realized he had apologized.. again. "So-" He started, but stopped. "Okay.." He said and wiped the look on his face, replacing it with a Fake, But Really Very convincing happy face.

"Shane..." She said sternly, she hated this it was so awkward. "I..ah...should go." She said turning, hoping fervently that he'd stop her.

"No, Don't Go.." Shane said and ran around infront of her. "Really.. i am Sorry- for... um.. being sorry....- Look, I Really like you.." He said and smiled, realistically. "Please don't go.."

She rolled her eyes playfully, and pulled the crutches closer to her sides as she reached up and straightened out the collar of his shirt. "And i really like you, and if you don't want me to go. I won't." She said smiling as she looked up at him.

Shane let out a soft sigh of Relief And Smiled. "thanks.." he said in a Really soft tone and kissed her quickly on the cheek.

She smiled and rolled her eyes playfully. "So, now what?" She asked looking up at him curiously.

"I'm no less hungry than I Was a minute ago.." shane Joked and laughed lightly.

"The cafe it is." She laughed and steadied herself. "lets go, for real now." She laughed.

Shane chuckled and nodded in Agreement and started walking, stopped and waiting for her, since she couldn't go as fast..

She followed him as quickly as it was possible with crutches and smiled when he waited. "Thanks,"

"no prob.." Shane said with a Smile and walked beside her.

She carefully began to ake her way down the stairs, stumbling but not falling a few different ties nad biting her lip nervously. She sighed with relief once at the bottom.

Shane ran down the stairs and slid to a stop, "you know.." he said gently "It Is still your turn" He laughed.

She laughed lightly. "Oh...right." She said adn thought as she walked towards the cafe. "OK. What are 5 words to describe me?" She asked absently and laughed at her lame Q.

"hmm.." shane said and swung around a pole, almost hitting the Wall, he shook his head, turning to Face Maureen. "funny, Cute, Smart, Caring and Sweet." He replied simply and smiled.

Maureen giggled. "That works." She said laughing. "Your turn." She said smiling brightly. Still walking towards the cafe.
