Oak Ridge Academy II

Shane widened his eyes and bolted forward, stopping with a skid on the pavement, "are you ok?!" He asked and offered her a hand.

She nodded shakily and took his hand standing up. She looked down at her clthes, her jeans had prevented screaped knees. And her hands were the only things screaped. She sighed and looked at her stinging hands, brushing them off on her jeans and looking aruond then back at shane. She laughed gently. "You look like you just saw a ghost." She said noting his wide eyes.

"I do?" shane asked, raising an eyebrow. "Nah.. you just worried me, I thought you were hurt..- er.. More.. hurt?" He laughed, confusing himself.

Maureen shrugged. "I'll live." She laughed and shrugged. She looked up at him. "Awwhh. Worried? Really? About Me?" She laughed and patted his shoulder, "I'm fine." She reassured him and smiled then withdrew her hand and looked down, blushing slightly.

"Good, Then we can go to the stables now??.." Shane laughed lightly with a smirk.

"Yeah." She said rubbing the palms of her hands together, and wincing a the stining. "lets go." She said ignoring the pain.

"ok" shane said with a smile and started walking. He turned around, walking backwards. "coming slowpoke?" he teased playfully.

"After that little accident, i think i'll take my time, thank you very much." She laughed gently and jogged slowly after him.

"ohhh.. Scared?" Shane laughed and slowed down. "Thats okay I Can go at your pace.." He said and got next to her, smirking.

She elbowed him in the ribs, a little harder than she had before. "Oh, just shut it. Okay?" She laughed and looked up at the sky slowing to a fast walk.

"Okay okay" Shane chuckled and slowed down with her, looking up. "Whatcha lookin' at?.." He asked in a low tone.

She came to and shook her head, looking at him blankly. "oh..nothing, just thinking." She laughd softly, she smiled lightly and looked down.

"You okay?" Shane asked in a Gentle tone, putting his gaze on her.

She shrugged, looking up and meeting his gaze. "Yeah i'm fine. Why?" She asked her gaze questioning.

"No reason.." shane replied and looked away. He looked up ahead, seeing the stables, "C'mon" He said with a smile and Jogged ahead.

She watched after him and furrowed her brow as she thought. "Kay." She said quicking her pace a little.

Shane got to the stables and laughed. "Oh come on, You can go faster than that!" He teased in a playful tone.

She shrugged and jogged the rest of the way, letting her hand skim across the wall as she slipped past Shane and down the hallway towards the stalls.

Shane smiled and Followed after her.

She walked to Roses stall. The brass plac on her door gleamed in the sun that streamed in through an open window. Maureen hurriedly walked over, tuning everythign else out and smiling as she rubbed Roses mussle. Rose nuzzled her hand and lipped at her hair in greeting. Her clearish hooves pranced on the ground and she tossed her head. rubbing her muzzle to Maureens scraped palms.

Shane smiled again, "She is Pretty.." he complemented Rose as he kept walking on, about 5 Stalls down was Cody's stall.
Cody whinnied happily as he saw Shane and pranced in place, tossing his head. "Hey Boy.." Shane said softly with a smile and Reached in the Stall, rubbing his neck gently. "Cmon.." he said in a Low tone as he pulled his hand out and opened the stall, Quickly Grabbing His Halter.

Maureen smiled glancing towars Shane. "Thank you." She said in a soft tone, Rose tossed her head and whinnied as if understanding the compliment. She pressed her chest to the stal door, wanting to run. Maureen smiled, running towards the tack room, soon coming back with a light halter that she had ment to hang on the stall earlier. She quickly sliped it onto Roses head, and fastened the cheek strap. She opened the door, and walked Rose out of the door, kicking the door lightly shut, she pulled herself onto Roses back and leaned forward, rubbing her neck, then leaning up looking at Shane and Cody. "He's a beautiful horse." She said nodding a glint in her eyes. "You two up for a fast ride? Or are you to chicken?" She added the last part in a teasing playful tone and smiled.

Shane smirked. "You kidding? We're always up for a 'fast' Ride." He challenged, putting emphasis on the 'fast.'
"Cmon Boy.." He said to Cody and rubbed his muzzle, walking him towards the Tack room.
Cody snorted softly and whinnied, flicking his ears.

Maureen laughed lightly. Following, Spanish Rose walking along magestically, like she was the queen of the stables, she loved to flick her tail and be her sassy self. Maureen laughed as she saw Rose nicker to Cody and lift her tail bobbing her head and whinning.

Cody snorted and pinned his ears back, flicking his tail in Rose's Face, he trotted forward a little bit.
"Easy.." Shane said and pulled Cody's halter so he was walking again, stopping at the Tack stall.
