I grumbled under my breath as I trudged down the hallway, the backpack I had was heavy on my back and I wanted to get it into my locker as soon as possible. I yawned and bumped into a few people who shot me nasty glares, I childishly stuck my tongue out at them and rolled my eyes finally making it to my locker and dropping my backpack, shoving all the books that I didn't need for now in side. Ahh what a relief.

I ran my hand threw my slightly ruffled hair to smooth it down and sighed heavily. I looked at my hand and frowned a little with my brows knitted together in deep thought. I was pale but not a full pale to suspect something wrong but my skin did have a small glow to it that drew the humans in so it was easy to hunt my prey. I shrugged finally and shifted the small black back pack filled with books but it wasn't heavy to me. I turned off my black mustang after I parked in the school lot and got out. I didnt smile, Why? because if i did a full smile my fangs would show and that would not be good. My eyes rolled at the thought and I chuckled slightly, it was easier to hide them now a days. I put black sunglasses on fixing my white button up shirt a little as I walked into school and looked at each person that walked by.

I got out my English Literature book for my English Lit class, first period was always my favorite, but I hated that it had to be so early in the morning. I wasn't a morning person to say the least. I looked down at my shoes as I thought about what else I should be taking, my shoes were all white with totally awesome looking designs that I had made with all different colored sharpies, they looked wicked sweet. I had gotten plenty of comments on them. I felt long arms wrap around my stomach and smiled. "Hey Joey!" I laughed lightly and felt his cheek pressed to mine as he placed his chin on my shoulder. He smiled. "What's up?" I asked as I shoved the last book it and closed my locker, he tickled my sides gently then turned me around and looked at me with his crystal blue eyes.

"Nothing much, just planning on going to the lake after school with some friends. You wanna come?" He asked with that adorable smile that I loved. I leaned over and planted a kiss on his cheek. "Wouldn't miss it for the world! But I gotta go! English Lit! Otherwise Ms. Gardner will have my head!" I giggled and ran down the hall. I had the best boyfriend.

My gaze shifted as i watched a girl and her boyfriend almost biting my tongue at her scent. i wiggled my nose yeah not my fault i have high senses but she was one of the strongest human beings i have ever felt the urge to bite. I shrugged it off and walked to my locker, ignoring the glances from many people. I shoved my books in and headed for English class. once I got their I sat down near the back and leaned into the chair slightly before closing my eyes. I wasn't new I just didnt do much to be noticed yet they claimed I was a popular kid How weird.

I sighed as I walked into class, JUST before the bell rang. Oh yeah! I've got ninja skills! Okay maybe not. I laughed lightly to myself as I dropped my English homework on the desk and walked towards the back right corner where I usually always sat, I flopped down into my seat and dropped my back pack on the floor, pulling out my book, and the note pad where I wrote notes. I also pulled out a few pencils. I always broke mine because I wrote a little too hard, no matter how much I tried not too.

A frown lined my lips as I heard the teacher direct her attention to me "MR. Walker if you be so kind take off your sunglasses" she ranted and I rolled my eyes. "Alright" I called out my voice smooth as honey you could say as I took of my glasses and set them down on the desk. My deep blue orbs stayed closed for a moment as i rubbed my temples and opened them to adjust to the light. My got out my notepad with a pencil in hand and stared at the ceiling for a second before getting out my homework.

I glanced over at who I knew to be Jordan and rolled my eyes ever so slightly. He struck me as a jerk or a player for some reason. I sighed and looked back towards the teacher, leaning my elbow on the desk and placing my chin in my palm, lazily doodling on the paper with my pen as I waited for class to officially begin.

I scanned the room and stared girl know to be Annie and smirked. I chuckled low under my breath already knowing what she probably thought of me but I didnt care. I almost let a grin out as I heard about the party at the lake and pondered on whether I should go and 'crash' the party you could say. A sigh escaped me as i started writing random things on a piece of paper handing in my homework.

I yawned and rubbed my eyes with the back of my free hand then continued doodling around the writing on the page. Sighing and then looking at the teacher as she spoke, I already knew all of this, and was about to die of boredom. I tuned her out and stared at a small little lady bug crawling across my desk, now how did she or he get in here? I glanced around and saw the open window in the front, oh, that's how it got it. I reached over and let it crawl up onto my finger and I watched it crawl up and down my arm. I smiled as I watched it, and held in a few giggles when it tickled.

My gaze shifted back to annie as I watched her play with a small bug and rolled my eyes, kid inside I chuckled at the thought and stood up just as the bell rang before walking out of class. Luckily that was 5th period and I didnt have a 6th so I got to leave school early. I grabbed my stuff and shoved it into my backpack once I got to my locker.

I caught Jordan's gaze and rolled my eyes, idiot. I sighed with relief as the bell rang and I set the lady bug down and grabbed my stuff, walking out of class, barely getting out without being trampled. I yawned as I walked back to my locker and leaned on it in silence for a while, finally registering that I didn't have a 6th period and was free to go. How awesome? I did a little 'WHOOP' motion with my hands and flung open my locker and shoved stuff randomly inside. Wanting to get out ASAP. I then hit my locker to make it shut but it bounced back and smacked me in the forehead. "AGHHH!" I yelped and jumped back, clapping a hand over my forehead, little did I know that someones back pack was right behind me, and I tripped over that, and fell right on my behind. I laid there, I was sure that my butt, my forehead, and dignity were majorly bruised. I let out a frustrated sigh as I rubbed my forehead that was going to leave a mark. I felt tears sting my eyes. A few girls snickered and I glanced up, seeing them upside down since I was on my back. I saw Joey talking to a few girls, a flirty expression on his face. What the hell? I rolled over and got to my knees, he didn't even see me!!

I watched the girl fall in slow motion and frowned. I almost chuckled but I still felt bad for her and i shot a harsh glare at the girls who snickered making them hurry away before I moved towards her. I looked down at her and tilted my head, "Need some help?' I asked in a low voice as I offered my hand out to hr, no amusement or laughter in my eyes but concern as my brows knitted together. I followed her gaze and stared at joey through the corner of my gaze and frowned slightly.

I glanced up at the guy, ohhkkayy. Maybe he's not as much of a jerk as I thought he was, I bit my lip slightly and nodded, reaching out to take his hand, and pull myself to my feet. I stumbled a bit then caught myself. "Just my luck, I'm such a jinx... to myself." I laughed lightly then released his hand and slammed my locker shut in annoyance. I looked back at his bright blue eyes and then looked away a small blush playing on my cheeks then I looked at Joey and caught him watching us with a slight frowned. I sent him a frown of my own and looked back at Jordan. "Thanks." I said with a smile.

I helped her up easily, my body tensed when she almost fell again but caught herself and I relaxed. I could feel the guys eyes on me but I ignored it and shrugged "No problem..everyone has a weird moment you could say and im jordan but you already know that and you annie, were in almost every class together" I spoke up and lightly smiled back before leaning against the locker next to her. "Hes jealous...his own fault I guess" I mumbled out seeing the frown she sent joey but chuckled lightly at it with an amused expression.

"I laughed, yeah I guess he is a bit jealous huh?" I commented, "Oh and yeah, You always sit in the back, kinda like me." I smiled and shrugged. "So you going to the lake today after school?" I randomly asked to make conversation.

"Well maybe he shouldn't have been flirting with those girls in the first place"I shrugged and stuffed my hands into my pockets with a sigh. I looked over at her with my deep blue eyes and smiled slightly "Maybe...Im not sure yet depends on what im doing" I mumbled in thought and looked away her scent making my throat burn.

I laughed lightly. "Maybe not.. I'll get on his case later.." I sighed and looked at him. "Okay, well, it'd be cool to see you there I guess." I smiled and shrugged.

"If thats what you really think not that you actually would care since we just met and all" I chuckled lightly and leaned my head back against the locker for a few moments before pushing off. "Well good luck with him." I finally sighed and looked at her fully once more. "See you later." I responded before turning and walking away putting my sunglasses on. I threw my backpack into the mustang and stopped before I got in, taking a deep breath before I licked my lips and got in. Okay I admit the hole licking lips thing was weird but when I was thirsty thats what I did subconsciously not my fault.

I smiled slightly. "Well, yeah I know, but a friendships gotta start somewhere right?" I shrugged and laughed a bit. "Thanks.. see ya!" I called after him as he walked away, what a strange, but intriguing guy. I turned and grabbed my bag, then walked off down the hall. Hearing steps behind me. I whirled around and Joey came up right to my face. "Hey baby!" I frowned and stepped back. "Don't hey baby me." I said, "I saw you with those girls.. what'd they say?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

I did faintly hear what she said even though I was about a mile away by now but hey Im a vampire mixed with a werewolf senses are just the plus of it all. I pulled into my one story house with a small stable in the back and locked my car before walking in the house. I was greeted by a large black German shepherd named shadow and patted his head before moving to my basement. I shuffled threw the fridge I kept down in the back and frowned as i grabbed a packet of donated blood and poured a little in the cup, swallowing it down in a matter of seconds. I rolled my eyes and threw the empty bag away before closing the fridge and locking the door after I left. I didnt bite people or atleast I did my best to refrain from it.

He shrugged sheepishly. "Oh.. I was just asking for some test answers."
I raised a skeptical eyebrow. "Mhmm sure. Whatever," I mumbled and headed towards the door. I needed to get my bathing suit and some clothes ready, I sighed when I heard him say something and tuned him out, walking towards the doors. He needed silent treatment. I walked out and headed down the side walk. I only lived a block away so that was a plus.

I rubbed my temples and let out a heavy breath as I heard both sides of my nature growl at each other and rolled my eyes. It always sucked when the two parts of me collided because they always fought for dominance. I smirked and decided I would go to the lake house, hang out for a little then I would 'crash' it. Moving along the house I went into my room and took my jeans off throwing a pair of shorts on after i put a pair of swimming trunks on underneath. I walked out of my house locking it before i looked at my car then the forest and chuckled going inside the forest where once I was out of sight I dashed away.

I finally made it to my house and let out a sigh of relief as I walked in. "I'm home!" I called as I walked in and dumped my bag on the couch, running up the stairs before my Mom started bugging me to do chores. I pulled out some shorts and a tank top and my favorite bathing suit, slipping into them, then puling my shorts and tank top on over. I looked at myself in the mirror. Not bad. I shrugged into my sweatshirt, and grabbed a towel and some extra clothes, shoving them into a bag and grabbing my cell phone, that I had forgot this morning, off the dresser. I then jogged down the stairs, my Mom was standing there looking at my questioningly. "I'm going to the lake with some friends, is that okay?" I asked, she shrugged.

"Sure, sounds great, but when you get home, you gotta hit the books, and do the laundry." Sher said sternly and I nodded. Homework, agh, I hated it. I walked out the door and down the steps, heading towards the sidewalk. Yeah, I was 17, and I could drive, but I didn't have a car. My parents hadn't bought me one, either I drive the family MINIVAN, or walk. I preferred walking.
