Animorphs

I snorted as she reared up, and gently bucked. Though at first I lost my balance, it became pretty easy.. I grabbed her mane a little harder, not to fall off, and then let go when she got into a gallop. "Did you forget that I took riding lessons two years ago?" I had to shout over the noisy wind as we ran through the forest. I half-way shut my eyes and glanced back to make sure nobody was watching.

I snorted again, another annoying little fact. If you wish to ever be able to flirt successfully. You must know.. 1. Women are always right. 2.We don't like to be reminded of what we forgot. I thought to myself as if I was saying it too him. I sighed and once we were a very large distance away, I slowed and heard the sound of running water, I began to feel slightly woozy. I don't know why. I slowed to a sloppy walk. -You might want to get off.. I feel..tired..- I snorted gently and soon stopped. I shifted impatiently. Then my legs gave out and I collapsed. Since we weren't fully animal, galloping in horse form was like running your legs off. I felt really tired now. Sore. I morphed human laying on the ground, breathing in great large breaths. I looked at Tony, who was sitting on my back. Awkward. "OK. Get off.. And remind me never to do that again." I said raspily.

I rolled my eyes a little bit at the sudden silence... Sometimes it seemed Skye spent more time in a fantasy, imagining world than she did in the real world. I heard her ask me to get off, and honestly was about to... But she morphed a human before I really had the chance.
".......WAAH!" I scattered off of her as fast as I could, doing a triple barrel-roll through the leaves and loose dirt. I finally stopped when I rolled onto my back, and just laid there... about 6 feet away from Skye.
"Ugh..." I groaned.

I then burst into laughter. "Oh...my gosh..." I laughed my cheek pressed to the earthy ground. "You should see the look on your face." I said calming down a bit and letting my eyes drift shut. Gosh I felt tired.. Like I had run miles and miles. This was a drawback.. For me at least. I didn't know if this happened to anyone else. It certainly happened to me. I steadied my breathing, and just lay there, still on my stomach and bit my lip.

I rolled my eyes at Skye and rolled over so that I was on my side, and facing the opposite way. "Ehh... shut up." I murmured under my breath. After a couple of seconds, I sat up and began poking my lower leg curiously. "I can't feel it," I snorted with amusement.

"Sour puss." I murmured gently and sighed rolling onto my back, I stared up at the sky through the scattering of trees and leaves. I smiled ever so gently, then sat up, looking over at him. His expression really had been hilarious. I smirked lightly and ran my hand through my hair to get the leaves out and then brushed my cheek with the back of my hand to get the dirt off.

I rolled my eyes once again, and faced away from her.. then began running my fingers through my hair as well to pull all the broken twigs and leaves out of it. "I hate fall," I muttered. "All it means to me is leaves in my hair."

"Gosh, you're such a girl!" I laughed. "I'm supposed to be worried about that!!" I said and gathered leaves throwing a bunch at him and getting them in his hair. I burst into laughter and held my stomach. Looking at him a challenging look on my face. (shortness I gtg.. D=)

"Not a girl, a guy with awesome hair!" I shot back to her. As soon as I turned to face her again, she had thrown a bunch of leaves my way. "Hah.. It's on." I challenged and stood up, gathering a complete armful of leaves in my arm. I then walked over to Skye.. and dumped them on her head.
"Who's laughing now?" I smirked, then hopped backward.. Just in case she was to try to grab me, or fling the leaves back up.
[It's fine. :3 I am going bowling at noon- 3, and then I'm going to Pittsburgh (neighboring town) around 4:30 with my BFF... and then probably staying at the mall until.. about 7 or 8. Then its an hour drive home, and I can get on. BUT.. I might sleep over at her house. Regardless, I'll be on sometime Saturday.. and MAYBE for a few minutes later today between 3 and 4:30. So.. BYE! *hugs*]

I giggled and stood up, shooting the leaves right back at him. I gathered another load in my arms walking over to him and throwing them up into the air above him. I burst into laughter at how silly he looked. "I believe I'm the one laughing.." I said and smirked also. Stepping away from him. I looked around the water catching my eye and looked at it for a while.. So pretty. Then I shot my gaze to Tony to make sure he wasn't trying anything while I was distracted. I crossed my arms and looked at him. "You just going to stand there?" I challenged.

I spat on the dirt, making a desperate attempt to get the shredded little leaf bits out of my mouth. "Nah.." I said, sweeping a majority of the leaves off my now-dirtied head. I glanced back behind me for a split second to make sure nobody was around.. And once I confirmed that we were alone, I faced forward to Skye again. Simply enough, I though of an Amur Tiger... And I was already halfway done morphing into one. I fell down onto all fours, now covered with fur... The world was much brighter than before, and my sight was extravagant. I then looked up to Skye and purred loudly and mischievously.
< Now who's laughing? > I taunted, flicking my tail back and forth constantly. I raised my front, left paw high up into the air, and then swatted it down across the dirt and leaves, flinging the load of fall element right toward her face.

I laughed and watched as he morphed, it was so interesting to watch.. I don't know why. It just was. You never got to watch yourself morph, but you could see your friends do it. It was cool. I jumped back as he swatted at the ground, not fast enough. A bunch of dirt and leaves hit my face. "Uuuugghhh." I brushed it all off quickly and walked over to him. "I have to say, you're much cuter in animal form." I teased laughing a little, not really meaning it of course. But I wasn't gonna tell HIM that. I wasn't about to stroke his ego.

I waved my tail back and forth steadily, coming to a complete stop as I looked up at her. My eyes shone with curiosity.. < Cute-r? > I scoffed. < You calling me cute? >

I laughed gently and shrugged, lowering myself to the ground and crossing my legs Indian style. I let my fingers entangle in his fur and just ran my hands through it, whenever someone I knew was in an animal form, I never thought of them as like a real person. So I didn't get embarrassed at the fact that I was sort of stroking my guy friends hair.

I let out a loud sigh and sat down on the ground. I couldn't even remember why I morphed in the first place... all I knew was that she was scratching in just the right place. I rolled over onto my back and purred, rubbing the top of my head on the ground. All sanitary human-instincts were gone with the wind when I was morphed... As it was for any of us. Sure most of our human thoughts were there.. But so were the animal's.

I laughed. "Well you're comfortable." I continued scratching in the same area. I sighed and leaned on my left arm as my right hand kept running threw his fur. I stared at the ground. "So now what?" I asked him looking over at him and tilting my head. I had a questioning look on my face. Smiling as I watched him, he was so content, I must have scratched the right spot. I shook my head and rolled my eyes playfully.

< I don't know.. > I answered her with a purr, slightly shifting my weight. I rolled over so that I was laying on my stomach, with my paws in front of me. < A shower when I get home... I know that much. > I joked as I looked up at her.

I watched him laughing gently. "Yeah.. You need it!" I said teasingly poking him gently. I felt myself yawn a little. I looked around absently. Well this was very boring, and when I was bored I was tired. I looked at him, his fur so inviting, soft.. I yawned again, leaned forward a little a shifting until my head was laying on his back, I sighed. "I'm still bored.. " I said still scratching his neck.

I smiled as much as a tiger could as I felt her head rest on my back. I rest my own bulky head upon my heavy paws and exhaled heavily. 'Ditto, what do you want to do?' I asked, wrapping my large tail around my rear. As soon as I heard her yawn, I couldn't help but yawn myself.

"I have no idea.." I mumbled slightly as my eyes slowly drifted shut, just a little bit. I willed myself not to fall asleep. Fail. I had soon fallen into a light sleep, my hand stopped scratching his neck and my breathing became even and steady. I moved only slightly as I lay there quietly.

I pulled my ears softly back against the back of my head. My hearing being as good as it was in that particular form.. I heard her breathing getting softer and steadier. Soon, I heard a very soft 'snore'.
A may not have been able to really smile as a Tiger... but I certainly was smiling inside. I tilted my head very slightly to the left and allowed my eyes to drift closed.

My heartbeats grew faster, my hands grabbing at his fur, I was soon murmuring something. "Noo..nu...My cookie!!" "No..no...get away from me!" I whimpered gently as I shifted my heart was frantically pounding in my chest. I shifted rather quickly, my head falling off of Tony's back and onto the dirt ground, this knocked me awake and I shot up into a sitting position. I looked around wide eyed. My breathing still uneven and hard. "Ok.. Just a dream.. just a dream.." I whispered as I rubbed my eyes shakily.

My eyes shot open as I heard her speaking in her sleep. I lifted my head and turned, looking at her as she shifted herself and fell off of my back. I couldn't help but roll my eyes.
'Cookies?....' I spoke in a somewhat deep voice as I stood up, looking down at her. I was about to add in something else... But it struck me. How long had we been asleep??
I wasted no time at all in making an attempt to morph back to Human. Lucky for me, it worked. I was back to normal within seconds.
"That scared the living hell out of me..." I let out an exasperated sigh, falling back onto my back on the leaves. I rest my forearm on my forehead.

(I put a strike on the 'cookies part' I was joking xD. I thought it'd be funny to post.. xDDD)

I rolled my eyes at him and shrugged, standing up. Gosh that had been a terrible dream, two men had been chasing me, the men from the lab, they had tranquilizers.. And they permanently turned me into an animal. I shuddered, a breeze picked up and made me shiver as I rubbed my arms rapidly.

[OH! XDDD I wondered what the strike was for.......... Ignore the cookies part then. XD]




I used my arms to lift myself up, and then stood and brushed the dead leaves off of my clothes. "Is everything alright?" I asked, tilting my head a tiny bit to the right. She seemed a little bit frazzled, in my eyes... Had it been anyone else, I probably wouldn't have cared much... Let alone mention it. But something seemed to be bothering her.
