The Seekers

"Well...." I wanted to use the classic; 'He stared it.' But that would be just childish. "I know.." I finally admitted, not believing myself but just leaving it at that. Maybe I had a chance of getting out of this alive. This guy seemed to not have anger issues like the other jerk.

I quickly walked over to the girl and nuged her hand when the guy left.I poked her with my nose and sneezed, falling onto my back from the force of it.

The dog made me giggle ever so lightly. Jazzy was sitting in a corner staring at the dog with baleful eyes. She mewed and rubbed her head on the wall scratching an itch.

I looked around the plain room, the steal table, the cold seat. I shivered and rubbed my arms, looking at my feet as I crossed and uncrossed them uncomfortably.

I snorted inb protest at the girl and sat up, scratching behind my ear with my back paw.I moved to army crawl between the girls legs, I could bet this was the weridest but funnest things a dog could do.

Nick placed his arms on the cold table, continuing to stare at the Girl. He'd never done an interrogation before... It was kind of interesting.
"Just tell me exactly what you saw, and I'll let you go." He said, only partly lying. He would let her go...... But in the dungeon. However, if she knew that, he wouldn't get a word out of her.

"Just what I had said before. I was walking down the sidewalk. And I looked down an Aleyway, a girl was walking and then disappeared." I explained adding a little more details just because this man was little more polite then the last. Mind you, I did say, just a LITTLE more. I stared back at him, unflinching un moving, and setting my jaw.

Nick narrowed his eyes at the girl, only slightly.
"Alright," He said. He knew it was completely against rules... But clearly this girl knew nothing more. And he wasn't prepared to bother with her, regardless.
"Come with me." He said and pushed on the table, lifting himself up out of the chair. "We're done."

I snorted again and just lied down between her legs in an army crawl position with my head ontop of my front paws my ears perked.I jumpped up, making my head hit between her legs by accident with a slightly yelp.

I looked at Demon and rolled my eyes playfully, then pushed myself out of the chair and looked at Nick and tilted my head. I shrugged and followed him carefully. My hands folded across my chest, Jazzy pranced gracefully along at my sie winding between my feet and nuzzling my leg.

I followed after the trio and watched with my ears perked,if we were heading for the bad place i wasn't going to follow.

Nick internally shouted at himself. Don't put her there.. He thought repeatedly. It's wrong, and even you know it.
He tried to push aside his thoughts as he jerked open the large door. he looked back to the Girl, and took a tight hold of her wrist. This was familiar...
"Demon, no.." He growled to the Dog, whom he was beginning to become annoyed by his antics with the girl. It wasn't helping anything. [In the way that Nick doesn't want to get attached to her. Demon is cute. XD]

[Wait explain that again..? In the way that Nick doesn't want to get attached to her. ..?!?!]

I sighed and just let my arm fall limp as he grabbed my wrist, this was familiar. I tightened my jaw and looked at the dog, biting my lip. Apparantly the dog liked me. But not the owner. Go figure. I rolled my eyes.

I slowly started to growl at nick,my lips curling up to barre my fangs.He knew this was wrong and that he shouldent but he never listened!I snarled viciously at him and snorted as I flatened my ears and turned to walk away.

[He doesn't want to be bad to her. But he has to...]



Nick paid little attention to his Dog, and led the girl to the large steel door. Without warning, He shouted loudly. "AWAY FROM THE DOOR!" His deep voice echoed throughout the Steep halls.
Despite his shouting, The people inside continued to scratch and kick at the door. They were desperate, and some even were driven insane.

I sat down in the middle of the hallway, my back to the door as i lied my ears flat so I wouldent hear the screams.I looekd down at the floor as i closed my eyes and curled my tail at my side, having my shoulders slsihglty forward.

My eyes widened, I tried to pull my wrist away. "What are you going to go to me?!" I asked desperate, yanking and pulling, my eyes wide with clear fear. I stared at him pleading for him to just let me go, to my home, my family. Jazzy hissed at the door, she looked at Nick and hissed again jumping at his leg and digging her nails into his skin. She was a mad kitty!

Nick grinded his teeth together in pain and looked down at the cat. "Stupid cat!" He spoke in a rough, bitter voice. He simply tensed up his leg, and a shock of electricity went through it, and into the Small feline. Though it shocked Nick, too, he was used to it and all it felt like was a very harsh vibration. "Quit moving, will you?!" He snapped at the Girl whom he still held onto the Girl. This was the first time he'd actually shown any emotion in front of her. But unfortunate for her, it wasn't the most exciting thing to see.

I was shocked into silence as I wathced my cats hair stand on end and she meowed and hissed ferociously and dropped to the floor. A hurt expression formed on my face. Then a scared one. I bit my lip and looked away from him, I knew there was no way out of this.

"Yeah....," she lied, "super sexy." yeah after this guy goes into the dungeon she was rinsing out her mouth. The guy looked quite flattered, now was the time to implanted that thought of him thinking that she was cute, or hot, or something along those lines. He raised his eyebrows a couple of times and looked at her with a flirty grin.

"Well I got a secret for you, wanna know what it is?" oh a secret he has? She pretended to be curious.

"Oh yes! Tell me." he cleared his throat and got closer to her.

"Well I think you're sexy too." he said in a loud whisper and a wink. She tried her best not to puke, though it was really though at this point. she immediately reminded her self that this creep with soon be in the dungeon and out of the world...more or less. She mentally suggested that he take her somewhere to go have a coffee or lunch or something.

"Hey did you want to go somewhere else?" she gave him a fake.

"Sure!"

"Alright where to?"

"Ummm......I don't know...ummm...oh! I got it. It's a surprise though." she hoped that this would work.

"A surprise?" she heavily put the thoughts of him trusting her and him liking surprises in his head.

"Yeah it'll be great, I'm sure you'll love it!" the guy contemplated for a moment, as if trying to figure out whether or not to trust her but then he nodded.

"Okay, lead me."

"Oh but you have to put on a blind fold." she could tell that he wasn't liking that idea.

"Well it's not too much of an surprise if you know where you are going. Com'on don't you trust me!?" she whined, acting as if she was about to burst into tears. He thought for a moment, Anne really putting thoughts into his head.

"Ah, alright. I have nothing to worry about when I'm with a sweet girl like you. Go ahead and put it on!" Anne squealed, if one of the other seekers were to see her now....oh boy she would be embarrassed. She grabbed a bandanna out of her suit and covered his eyes. She then grabbed a hold of him and led him to her car to take him to the organization. He of course flirting with her all along the way.

Eventually the guy got into the car and they both drove to the "special place", Anne was beginning to get a head ache from all the thought implanting. Once in the parking lot she took him out of the car and led him in to the front desk. The man with the piecing eyesspoke with her.

"ID# please."

"#5642."

"Very good, please proceed."

"Uhh....are we there yet? Where are we?" the man was getting very frightened, but Anne's thoughts kept him some what under control. She led him down the corridor and pass the torture chambers and right in front of the big metal door at the end.

"Yo! I brought a ""special" guest, open up." another man came from behind her, he was tall and muscular, definitely not a man to mess with.

"Ah I see. Well let me take him off your hands, #5642." the man took a hold of the criminal and opened the door. Anne watched as the creepy man was taken away. Anne was glad that he never had to see him again.

I growled at anyone who passed me and kept stareing at the floor.My thoughts were going over double time as I looked over my shoulder at the door nick had taken the girl into.Should I run in there and save here or just be a side watcher like before?

Nick discontinued his power and put his leg back down, wincing a little bit at the Scratches and Diggs on it. "Get in," His voice now was deep, and frightening. He walked to the door and tapped in a 6-digit number on the keypad. After a small, sound beep, a green light lit on the door, and it was unlocked.
"Just... Get in." He took a moment to think of something else to say.. But nothing else could come out. He was now completely pissed. He grabbed a hold of the large, silver handle and gave it one big Tug, pulling it open. All of the people inside were nearly completely silent, and stayed still. Maybe they were insane, but they weren't dumb.
"

I looked at Nick. Biting my lip so hard I could taste blood. "But you said.." I didn't bother. My face contorted into one of hurt, pain, fear. I swallowed hard. I should have figured as much to know that he was a ruthless liar who people from their families and ever gave them back, leaving their family with the idea that they had been kidnapped, or murdered, or lost, or whatever horrible thing could pop into their mind first. I shuddered and scowled at his hand that still had a firm hold on my arm. I took a hesitant step forward towards the door.

Alright forget it, shes not going down liek the others.I quickly got to my paws and bounded threw the door, tackling nick just to stun him as I grabbed the girl by her shirt and started to run, pulling her along with me as quick as I could.

"Demon, you little shi-" Nick started as he was shoved down to the ground, and released his grip from the Girl. He sat up quickly, and then morphed into a large Amur tiger. With a snarl,h e came to all four paws and dove in front of Demon and the girl, a deep crackling growl escaped from his maw, and his round ears were pulled tight against his dense skull.
Of course, to his misfortune, the people in the room took chance of opportunity. The Door was open, And Nick was the only immortal out. The doors to the torture rooms were soundproof, and for them... It was simply a perfect time. As if they'd rehearsed before, every one screamed loudly. Aggression showed clearly on their faces. As fast as they could cram through the wide doorway, they all came running out. Nick raised his ears, and his snarl instantly went away. With wide eyes, he roared loudly to try to stop them. However, there were hundreds. And within seconds the hallway was so full of scattering people that you could barely even move.
Nick tried his best to Bite at them, or get them back in, but nearly every person that walked by him Hit him over the head, or kicked him in a place where any Man would hate to be kicked. He was hopeless against them.
