Lost, Scared and Confused

Carly laughed gently. "Oh well, you'll dry off." She said and shrugged, looking back up at him, there she goes again, staring. "Yeah....i know..." She said absentmindedly, still staring.

Shane raised an eyebrow as he saw her Staring. "Uhm.." he said, "your staring.." he added and laughed.

Carly's eyes grew wide and she immediatly looked down, "Er...i'm sorry." She apologized, Smooth. She thought sarcastically. She twirled her hair on her finger and sighed, blushing a deeeeeeeep red.

"Its cool.." shane replied, stopping laughing, he bit his lip and watched Dolphins flip in the Water on the horizon.
bored out of his mind, He layed on his back in the Sand, the sun now behind the trees of the forest.

Carly nodded slowly, then shifted her weight, laying int he sand, about 3 feet from Shane, she stared up at the sky, the stillness on the beach was too much, she let out a long bored sigh and ran her fingers through the sand. Then she stared at the water that beat up against the shores of the beach, she thought about all her family, and her friends, and her bedroom, her pets, and everyone back home. It was all too much, tears glistened in her eyes as she laid there silently, she sniffled softly and wipped her eyes, chidding herself, another smooth move, crying infront of a guy, lovely.

Shane sat up a little, positioning his arms behind him so he was sitting up. He glanced over at Carly, then at the beach, But quckly as her again. he tilted his head to the side a little. "are you.. crying?.." He asked in a surprised tone.

"I miss my home." Carly said softly, and stayed put, she sniffled softly, and looked at him, wondering why it would be surprising to him.

"duh.." Shane said to himself, he stood up and looked around. "I'm gonna go get more fruit.."He said, "be right back." he added, then ran up towards the woods, keeping his gaze down.

Carly immediatly stood and followd him, not cherishing the fact of beingleft aloneon this beach while he wandered the forests. She quickly and hurriedly caught up. "I'm coming." She said, wipping her eys quickly and making it look like she had not been crying. She fell into pace with him and smiled slightly.

Shane glanced at her only for a second. Then he put his hands in his pockets and kept walking, His gaze still never left the ground infront of him.

Carly didn't know what had gotten into her, but she had actually, grown to like him, she bit her lip gently looking up at him, "Is something wrong?" She ased concered at once. "Was it something i did?" She asked in a softer voice, looking down.



(OH MY GOSH!!!! I was like randomly thinking this up one night while i was laying in bed, he should like have a girlfriend, but he doesn't love her, and she is just a user. Good idea or bad?)

"no.. i'm fine" Shane replied, Rubbing one eye with a hand, he looked up and around the forest, seeing Kuro grazing up ahead where all the Trees were.

Brit nuzzled Kuro gently andswished her tail pricking her ears as she saw Shane and carly.

Carly bit her lip, "Oh...ok." SHe murmured, kinda taken aback by his not talking much.

(LIke back home, he has a girlfriend, but he never loved her, he had just 'thought' he did, and now he realizes he doesn't and that she was just a user, because she didn't love him either, and that should make drama for Carly and him :P)

Shane sighed and looked back towards the Beach, he stepped over a Log and came to the Orchard, he walked under the Apple tree and slowly pulled the apples off, His mind was somewhere else completely.
Kuro snorted softly and walked to Carly, nuding her side gently.

(Nah, how about not...too much trouble.)

Carly smiled at Kuro and rubbed his face, sighing softly, she looked at Shane. She bit her lip and thought for a couple minutes, she eventually stopped and helped him collect fruit. She stood up on her tip toes to get a big juicy red apple that was hanging off a high branch, she grabbed it, but it wouldn't come off, she pulled hard on it, and it finally came. She had pulled hard enough that when it finally came off it threw her off balance, she went to catch herself and went to her regular height, and put her foot forward, but tripped on a twig and fell forward and onto a hard rocky surface, she sheilded her face with her hands and landed on her stomach, her face covered with her arms. She lay there wincing in pain as she felt a few rocks jab her in the stomach, ribs, and arms. She took afewdeep breaths and then went to stand, wobbling and tripping a little, she caught herself on the tree and drew in a jagged breath of air.

[lol, But can you imagine, if like, Shane left for awhile and Carly met his old girlfriend. And when he came back they both said "hey Shane" and then asked each other how they knew him. but of course, Shane would pretty much be dead.. XD]


"Shane dropped all the apples he had collected and jumped down from the root he was standing on, "Are you ok?!" He asked Carly in a startled tone.

(PERFECT!!! Lets do it!!!)

Carly nodded barely and breathed heavely, recovering fromt he startle. She looked at her arms, and winced at the scrapes. She slowly slid into a sitting position, and bit her lip

Shane moaned to himself as he looked around and scratched his head. "uhmm.. I-" he started "Lets just go back to the beach.." he finished in a Sigh as he offered a hand to her.

Carly took his hand, slowly standing up, she winced and bit her lip. "Thanks." She said to him softly and smiled weakly.

"no problem.." shane said in a Real soft tone, glancing at the apple trees, he sighed again and started for the beach.

Carly slowly walked along beside him, she bit her lip and looked down at their hands..so close. She thought for a second, then slowly slid her hand into his, and held his hand as she walked, she didn't look up though.

Shane bit his lip REALLY hard as he shifted his gaze down, and to the left away from Carly a bit, tightening his grasp a little around her hand, his other shaking from being nervous.

Her heart pounded, she would have never had guessed he'd actually respond, she thought he'd like step away or something, she glanced up at him, smiling slightly, it grew a little bigger, she ignored the scrapes and stinging on her arms and kept walking.

Shane let out a soft Sigh. "sooo...." he said boredly, facing the ground right infront of him.

"So, whats up?" She asked randomly, loking down at their hands again, she smield to herself. Wow Wad the only thought that ran through her mind.
