Ruby Herd

Image looked at Storm, a mishevious look in her eyes.
"Remember it is Hide and Go seek Tips!!" She called over her shoulder as she galloped off.

"Oh yeah," Storm said, feeling stupid, he shook his head and galloped after her.

Image giggled and stood in front of Storm, dodging nimbly to the side as he came towards her.

Storm sighed, he passed her, he skidded to a halt and turned, he cantered up to her, and nipped her shoulder gently.

Image laughed and nipped Storm back. She looked around, seeing that the others had dis-appeared. She sighed and looked at Storm hopelessly.

"I have a feeling I'm no good at this game, " he said and smiled a bit.

"No, it's not you but... where did they go?" she asked, motioning around her to the empty field.

"Who go? The other colts and fillys?" He said and looked around, he cocked his head at the empty field.

"Yeh..." Image sighed and let her eyes wander. She shrugged and walked over to a tree, exhausted. She lay down and closed her eyes, immediately asleep.

Storm shrugged and walked over to Image was, he laid down next to her and sighed lightly.

I walked ahead and then stopped once again, standing in front a beautiful jewel: a topaz. It glowed in the darkness, and I reared before laying down in front of it. "Come on, Element," I whispered.

Element's eyes widened as he approached the jewel. He noticed that Willow had laid down in front of it, so he did the same too.

I put my muzzle to the large blue topaz, and let it rest slightly touching it. My eyes closed with ease; this was where I always came for relaxation. I sighed softly and started to sleep, dreaming of The Ruby Herd. This was the place to come for answers.

Image's eyes fluttered a little as Storm lay down but she slept on.

Storm looked at her, he looked around before resting his head on the ground and closing his eyes.

Image smiled as she yawned. She lay still and looked around her.

Storm opened his eyes, he looked straight and didn't see much, he sighed and looked at Image.

Element stood there confused. He pawed the ground impatiently, wanting Willow to get up.

"Lay down, Element," I whispered loudly, with an edge to my tone. "Before it happens!"

Element obeyed and laid down beside Willow and closed his eyes.

I sighed and whispered into his ear, "Thank you." Suddenly, the moment I had been waiting for, the topaz glowed brighter and brighter. Then, a percheron stallion walked out of mid-air. "Hello, Willow," he greeted me. I stood up and nodded. "Hello, Everest," I replied. "Who's your friend?" Everest asked.

Element looked up in amazement as percheron walked out of mid-air.
"I'm Element," Element replied.

Element nodded slowly, and whispered something into my ear. I shook my head. "Element, this is Everest. He is an ancestor of The Ruby Herd."

"Oh okay, What does he need?"

"Us."
