Wait how could this happened? The two girls that were their lab just suddenly escape, how did they do that anyway? Was security that bad here? Demetri always had the impression that the security here was top notch...okay maybe not top-notch but pretty dang close. He wrapped his index and middle finger around the top of his chin in thought.

"That's odd. How two teenage girls escape from here? I thought the security was pretty tight here." The other scientist shrugged.

"Well that's the question everyone else wants to know. Did they just walk through the front door? Did they escape through the vents?" Bill added his two cents in.

"Or some say that the head boss just let them go." Let them go without finishing the experiment? This didn't make sense to Demetri.

"Wait aren't they allowed to go any time they want? It's not like they were being held against their will or anything crazy like that, right? They are getting paid to be test subjects, aren't they." The other two shrugged.

"That's another thing, some think that the girls were being held here against their will." Demetri almost rolled his eyes, it was against the law to do that. The science lab must obtain permission from their test subjects to do experimentation on them. Demetri decided that perhaps he should go back to work and forget this nonsense. What most likely happened is that the boss let them go because some they some family matter happened or something. The 'escape' was probably some bad rumor.

Demetri said good bye to them and went back to his work station where those reports laid. He gave a sigh and picked them up once more.

I squinted my eyes half-shut as I walked up the frosty, cracked sidewalk. The coldness effortlessly crept through my jacket, and caused me to shiver.
"Starbucks..." I grinned as I looked over the "HELP WANTED" sign hanging outside the glass door. Coffee? I loved Coffee! Surely this was the job for me.
"I've... always loved working with beverages." I began practicing as I approached the building. "I'm great with blending stuff," I tried again.. but shook my head in disapproval. I came to the conclusion in my mind that I was just gonna go with the flow. Who cares if I didn't get the job?...

Who was I kidding. I needed it, more than anything. My thinking time was cut short as I came to the glass door. I grabbed a hold of the handle and gave it a jerk back, then slipped in. A warm breeze invited me in, and I let out a sigh of relief. Warmth! I shouted in my mind. I walked to the small line to the counter and waited behind a young lady.

The cold breeze slipped in along with the young man who stepped through the glass doors, involuntarily I shivered, looking quickly at him, then stepping forward when I was next in line. I stared at the menu for a second, the impatient lady behind the counter shifted her weight and sighed loudly, hinting me that it was near her break and that I needed to hurry up. I decided on a nice french vanilla steamer, heavy on the vanilla of course, it was ready in a jiffy; she handed me my cup and I gladly took it. It was warm to the touch, making my hand tingle. I stepped out of the line and looked around. Walking over to my sisters booth and sliding in.

(Storms. I'll bug her later, she's at school right now, but I'm spending the night at her house tonight, I'll nag her a bit. *giggle giggle smirk* lol :P)

I was still at my table, i didn't really care if my car was being towed, if it was i would just steal it out of the impound. they have no right to take it! well...i gues...never mind...

A cute guy walked in the door and went and stood behind my sister.
"Hmm...he's hot" i thought to myself. I got up and stood behind them.

"Hi there." i said, twirling my hair.

I narrowed my eyes a bit at the two girls standing just ahead of me. I was nearly positive the dark-haired one was speaking to me when she said hi, so I answered.
"Hello," I offered a warm smile before turning my gaze to the over-head menu. I wasn't coming here for a beverage, why was I looking at the menu??
I looked back down at the girls, and then remembered why I had looked away. For whatever reason, I had a very sad incapability of looking at Girls. My gaze quickly shot back to the menu. I could pretend I was gonna order until they left, at least. You're pathetic. I told myself in my mind.

(OK, lets just say she didn't go to her sisters booth. since you two already said she was still standing there.. lol)

I saw my sister walking over, she looked like she had gone into flirt mode. Oh gosh.. I thought rolling my eyes and smiling, typical Jazz. I looked at the guy. Well, she had good taste for one thing. I looked at him offering him an apologetic smile for my sisters behavior. Then I walked over to her and took a sip of my steamer, burning my tongue. I winced and made a face, holding the cup away fro my face. "So what are you getting?" I asked her raising an eyebrow. By the looks of it, she had already mentally ordered, to go.(had to put that lol) I laughed internally at my little joke, and looked over at the guy, then back at my sister.

Demetri picked his pencil and began looking at the reports once more, searching for any type of oddities. So far he seen any so far and he doubted they were any but they might be one never knows.

Refer to video #554a-3-Test subject #1 bites into her toast. Nothing seems out of the ordinary, though her right eye seems to be a little twitchy. She looks down at the table in a black stare and then surfs the internet. Refer to video #E445-4.

[Storm's turn.]

"I'm ordering...Hey you...dude in front of me...whats your name?" i said jokingly. I could feel my sister rolling her eyes. "Just kidding." I turned to look at Skye, "I was thinking about getting a Strawberry steamer, care to lend some money?" i said with pleading eyes to her.

[Is she talking to Joe? Cause he is behind her. o:]

(Umm.. this is confusing, she said she got behind him.... aaaghgh, it doesn't matter who's where lol! it's so confusing!! lol yes she's talking to him, as a joke I s'pose)

I gently narrowed my eyes at the girl behind me. At, flirting? I was no expert at it.. but I was certainly used to it.
"I'm unavailable," I offered a half-sarcastic, half-flirty look as I glanced back at the girl. I gave myself only enough time to focus on her eyes before flipping my head around and staring at the menu once again. Finally, the person in front of me stepped away and I could get this over with.
"I'm here to apply for a job?" I rest one arm on the counter and looked at the heavy-set girl at the counter. She seemed... uninterested in my offer, to say the least.
"How old are you?" She belted out her words as if I was there to please her.
"Twenty." I replied plainly, my expression blank.
"You need to be..." The girl cut off, and reached under her counter to retrieve a worn, shabby little booklet. My eyes widened, and narrowed at the sight of it. she licked her thumb, then went flipping through the pages at lightning speed before finally pausing at one page, and slapping her index finger down on the small words. I waited for her to say something, but she seemed to have another idea. she impatiently tapped her finger on the bold, red letters. Unhappily, I leaned forward to read them.
"MUST BE OVER THE AGE OF TWENTY-ONE.
"Twenty one?" I repeated, standing up straight again. "What the heck? Do you guys double up as a bar or something?" I snapped. She only looked at me for a moment, before motioning for me to leave and let the girls go ahead. Well, it was just perfect. EXACTLY what I needed. The answer to everything! Sense my sarcasm?
I looked at the cashier. "Just get me a coffee with a shot of french vanilla and two creamers.." I slapped a Five-dollar bill down on the counter. She left to get my beverage.

I rolled my eyes and was about to hand her the money when the guy in front of us turned around. Saying that he as unavailable in a half flirty way, when he did I had just taken a sip of my steamer, and burst into laughter, almost choking on my small sip. I coughed, and laughed, and choked. What was wrong with me? I was weird.. Needles to say, not embarrassed of bursting into laughter in the middle of a public coffee shop. I wasn't necessarily laughing at him, more at what he said to my sister. I looked at my sister jokingly and jabbed her with my elbow. "Sorry, he must be taken." I whispered teasingly. My sister was such a flirt. I was more conservative, and outgoing, then set on nabbing a boyfriend.

(Sorry, i got confused at the stuff like where people are standin lol)

"I'm unavailable" were the words that came out of his mouth. My sister started laughing, and i started laughing too. in spite of my failed attempt, i found it hilarious. Apparently so did she. We listened as he got turned down for the job. After he got his drink, i went ahead and got ordered. The lady who was there before apparently had finished her shift, because she turned around and got her coat and left. Her replacement (?) was a handsome young man that looked kind of familiar. "Oh shit." I said, and turned around, making up some excuse about my car and the impound.

[Do I wait for Cole?]

(I dunno... O.o HHHMMMM COLLLEE!!!!!!!!!!!! lol)

(You guys don't have to wait for me you know, not part of the big scene that's going down at the coffee shop.)

Demetri got up from his spot and went over to the phone with the report in hand. He dialed for a intern and shortly one picked up. They exchanged hellos and went straight to the point. She received her orders and hung up. He set the phone down and went back to his seat to wait for the girl. Leaning back his thoughts went back to his break. It still bugged how those girls could of gotten away. Through the air vent? No that couldn't be it.

The door then opened and appear a young woman with a couple of DVD's in hand. She smiled brightly and proudly walked.

"Here you go sir." Demetri nodded.

"Thanks." She said a "Your welcome" on the way out. Demetri sighed and went over to the video player. This video was probably just another boring one when the girls only just sit about being sad.

(He can't he's in a stinking lab for the rest of the day and if those two girls were smart they would of gone at least two towns away.)
