He finger was still cold, making me shiver, I bet I looked scared, totally terrified even. I stared at him, instinctively I reached out and jabbed my finger at his chest. Rock hard. Ice Cold. Strong. Fast. No food. No Sleep. Everything clicked. "w..what?" I gasped.

The head mistress was staring out the window at the boy and girl, her face contorted into a scowl. "What are you doing?!" She hissed. Knowing he would hear her. She would tell everyone. The hed mistress knew that...

Or would she?!

"Just talking" I shouted back to the head mistress as i slowly removed my gaze fropm hers and looked up at her.My eyes slightly narrowed but softened when i looekd back at the girl before me "Dont say a word about this" I whispered.

I shook my head automatically and maybe a little harder than nessesary. "Mums the word." I said biting the inside of my cheek a little harder. I looked towards the window but the lady was gone. "What did she say?" I asked curiously. "But why are you only telling me. I'm sure there are many other... Humans." I said, I immdiatly assumed that the ones with golden and red eyes weren't human.

Curiousity blared, no fear at all, I still hadn't guessed what he was trying to clue me in on, demon? No... Vampire. Hahaa I doubt it. Then I froze. Vampire! Ice Cold, Rock Hard, Hearing, Strength, Speed, Touch, Eyes. All enhanced senses, why you may ask I knew so much about vampires? Books, I enjoyed reading vampire romances. They were quite entertaining. "V...vampire.." I whispered still staring at his abnormally perfect face.

"She ask what I was doing?....we dont tell the humans since we dont want to be discluded from their world." I Mumbled looking up at the window where the headmistress use to be.I slowly turned my head as I heard her whisper what I truely was, a Vampire.My gaze slowly locked onto hers as I read her exspression and backed a few steps up.

I bit my lip tilting my head. Shouldn't he be sucking my blood my blood right now. I stared up at him, not able to move my gaze, a small shiver ran up my spine as a gust of wind blew, raising goosebumps. "I won't." I whispered.

I slowly nodded at her other whisper, understanding what she ment and rubbed the back of my neck."Kinda hard to believe I bet" I muttered out in a low tone as I stared at the ground for a moment before moving my gaze back up to hers.

"Uh.. Just a little." I inconspiciously pinched my arm, and blinked. Nothing. I was awake, of that I was positive. "So..... " I had no idea what to say, it was beyond words. I was speechless. "Whats up with this academy.. I heard it like just opened, why is it full of vampires?!"(--The humans were told it had just opened, little do they know it was JUST opened for humans but had been around TOOOOOONNSS of years) I asked almost whispering the last word. It was odd to say it, I'd always believed it was nothing but fantasy. Why you may ask, was I not running by now, screaming. I don't know, I just didn't feel any threats. It was odd.

I chuckled under my breath and smiled, while scratching the back of my head."This school has been open for years, it just opened to the humans.Us vampires have been here for a very long time." I said and slightly smiled as I tilted my head and stared at her.

"Tell me more!" I was so absorbed, Vampires had been one of my many fantasy interests, now everything I had read in books was coming alive. I plopped myself to the ground, crossing my legs indian style and placing both my elbos on each of my knees and letting my chin rest on my hands there were clasped. This was getting interesting. I'm not normal. Nomrla people would've run off screaming. Me. Well. It hadn't really registered yet. It was just entertaining. I didn't know whether to believe or not to believe. Believe Or Not Believe. That is the question. I sighed at myself and stared at the grass, lost in thought. What if it was all true, what if he did crave blood, my blood. I was so close. No one was around it'd be so easy for him. I shudered at the thought.

I was a little shocked by her statement and toke a single step back.After a few moments I slowly sat down and clampped my hands togetehr as I looked at her curiously with a tilted head."Well what do you want to know?" I questioned as I rubbed my palms together.It would be soooo easy just to tackle her, for the blood I so craved more then anything alse.It was rather strange, her blood or just her scent made me feel overwhelmed.

"Everything." My eyes flashing curiousity. I wondered if I was annoying him. All these questions, what if he thought I was weird because I wasn't running by now. If I had started running, I wouldn't have stopped till I got to the U.S.A. Eh.. maybe not that. Thats an exaggeration. But I was dragged in now. Couldn't escape my curious nature got the best of me.

I slowly leane dback to find myself against a tree and looked up at the sky."Well I got have unbeliebeable strenght and speed.My senses are majorly highentened, I can hear from miles away, smell incredabley.I dont need to eat food but im addicted to sweets, just love them.I do have a craving for blood but I control it best I can and only drink from animals.there is many others in the school that are like me and I have been alive for Three hundred years." i finished up, not knowing if I left anything out or not.

I absorbed it all. I opened my mouth to respond but Juno cut me off, she gracefully danced over to us, sending a wary glance at James. "Ave come play a game with me." "Could you wait a second." I said absently. "No!" She said almost to quickly. She looked at James with peircing eyes. She grabbed my arm and pulled me too my feet, feighning dificulty. "Please." She said putting on a pleading face.

I looked at James. Curiousity still engulfed me. Junos cold hand tugged mine. I knew she was one of them. I shivered a little. "I..ah-" "Good lets go!" She said cutting me off again and tugging me away from him. "Wait.." I said and looked back behind me, waving with my free hand and smiling slightly. Still dazed by all that I had learned. I knew Juno had wnated to get me away from him, so he wouldn't tell me anymore.

I slowly removed my gaze from the two and stared away from them.Always the same I guess, I waved back with a small smile and did the sign that ment zip the lips as in no telling and looked at demon. patting his head softly before letting out a loud sigh.

Demon whined when ave got up and followed after her for a moment before growling at juno and going back to james with a thump and a huff.His ears dropped and he wore a pouty like face.

"What are you doing talking to him?" She asked sounding disgusted when she said the word 'him'. "Umm.. He had given me a sandwiich. I was saying thank you." I said abesently. My mind lost. I glanced back now and then. I alreayd could tell this was going to be interesting here at this academy. "Juno. Just. I want to be alone for a second. Ok?!" I asked her maybe a little harshly she put on a pouty face and walked off gracefully. I wondered whether I should turn around and go back. Nah. I gathered my things and jogged towards the woods. I needed alone time to sort my thoughts. I dropped my stuff when I got about tenn feet in and then jumped up grasping a tree branch and pulling myself up onto another limb, making mywself comfortable. I stared absently at the sky that was half blotched out by the tall trees. Little did I know. Someone was watching.

I Grabbed demon and picked him up with a smile.I walked back towards my room and set him in their while, rubbing his head."Stop actin like a pup" I chuckled and walked out, locking the door behind me as I walked down the hall and back outside.I stared at the forest, I wanted to go in but yet I didn't I just stood their staring.

I sat on the branch carefully and silently. The silence engulfed me, nothing moving, it was as if someone had pressed pause. All at once I heard a twig snap, then somethnig shot by beneath me. Jump up onthe branch behind me and grabbed me from behind. At the touch I shivered, it was cold. And Hard. I shivered. Wondering who it was. James? I don't believe so. But I knew it was one of.. [i[them[/i]. I din't dare think the word. What was happening?

The grip tightened and pulled me off the branch pulling me closer to it. I felt cool breath on my neck. I shudered. "No!" I whispered frantically.

(Just so you know, it's someone the head mistress hired to have Ave eliminated. Because she knows she knows too much. I needed some action!! lolz)

Cold lips touched my skin, I felt..fangs? I squirmed, the grip tightened. "Who are you!?" I choked out. There was nothing but a musical laugh, then the lips were in place again. He was going to bite me!

I heard the commotion and jumpped into a tree, leaping from branch to brantch so I wouldent be seen but I was till moving fast.I could see the two figures come into view and slamemd into the man holding ave with a loud hiss.I stood infront of ave, in a protective stance as I curled my upper lips and barred my fangs at him.

As the man fell to teh ground, I toppled over with him, hitting the leaves with a gasp. I saw James, and then I saw the man stand and hiss at James. His fangs bared. A growl ripped through his body and he launched himself at James. "Back off buddy!" He growled fiercely, "This is between the little lady, the head mistress and I!" He said. I shudered. Not the slightest idea what was happening.

"I just got involved since your messing with my friend" I snapped at him harshly as I plunged roughly into him with a rough shove.My fangs latched onto his neck with a vicious snarl as I slammed him against a tree.I slammed him against the tree againt and growl roughly "Come near my friend again and Ill ripe you to peices, liturally" I glowered harshly to him as I walked over to ave and put a protective arm around her shoulders.

I stared wide eyed and opened mouthed at what was happening. The man laughed scronfully. "We'll see about that." He hissed threateningly and sauntered off through the forest. My heart pounded madly. My face pale. My hands shaking. "o...myy..gosh." I said and closed my mouth looking at him. I shook my head to get my thoughts organized. What had just happened?! It had all happened so fast.

The cold arm that was slung around my shoulders made me shiver just a little. There was protectiveness there. He had saved me. It all registered. I was going to be sucked clean of my blood. James saved me. He was protecting me. I was slightly confused. I glanced up at him. "Thank you." I seemed I had been saying that a lot lately.

"No thanks needed and he wont be bothering you, no one will while Im around" I said and slowly removed my arm from around her shoulder with a soft smile.I looked over my shoulder where the man had left and shrugged my shoulders, If he wanted ave or if anyone wanted her so to speak they would deal with me first.

I smiled, feeling a blush flare on my cheeks. Why was he doing this for me? He barely knew me. Why didn't he just leave me here. Instead of messing with the headmistress and her little vamp buddies. I shuddered at the thought of him coming back. He had been so close. I rubbed my neck where he was going to bite me. The hair on my neck stood on end and the area on my neck was still cold because of the cold breath that had been breating against it.

I stuffed my hands into my pockets as I stared up at the trees while we walked, just silently thinking to myself.Why did I help her? Why was her scent stronger then most people? It was all confusing to say the very least but it was diffrent from anything I knew.

I rubbed my neck, hating this uncomfortable silence. I wanted to say something. But I'm sure if I did say something, it'd some totally stupid. I sighed instead and went towards my things, gathering them up and holding them tightly against my body. I leaned on the tree and bit my lip, that had been a common action since I had first set my eyes on this person before me.
