Oak Ridge Academy II

(I'm tired of sitting infront of the Computer, i'm gonna go wathc TV, Disney Channel see if the JB's are on. I'll be back later, maybe BYEE)

[its fine :P I Made a long post to get mroe done.. since Shane has stuff to do and Maureen doesn't :P:P:P:P]




Shane gulped and stopped packing, looking around his dorm.. Everything was packed from His computer to his Bedding..
He grabbed his Phone and Called The Taxi Building, bieng told they'd be there in 10 minutes, he agreed and hung up, seemed like just enough time to get everything out.. He walked out Carrying the Box for his computer And His bags stacked ontop.. carrying them over to the Gate, He came back and repeated, untill everything was out, and on the bench by the Gate.
He came back to his dorm just to check (Um, Can I Ignore the fact that he's got a Horse?) to make sure everything was gone.. he looked on the ground and Saw a piece of folded paper, He reached down and picked it up.. it was the Song he had tucked in his pocket earlier.. must've fallen out.
Shane took a Deep breath before unfolding it the rest of the way and walking out of his dorm, slowly shutting the door behind him.. he walked to Maureen's door and slipped the paper under it. He listened for a moment to hear if she was awake.. since he heard nothing, he figured she was asleep.. At that, He Ran in a jog down and out the hallways back to his stuff.

Maureen was STILL asleep. (:P)

Shane got to the bench and sighed as he stopped, he looked around and down the road for the cab... wasn't in sight yet.. Shane sat down on the Arm of the Bench and bit his lip, looking back towards the Academy.

Maureen soon slowly awoke, her eyes fluttering open, she yawned and sat up, wincing at her leg then scooting off her bed and grabbing her crutches, she stood up and looked at her door, about to glance away when her eys caught sight of a thin sheet of paper laying under the door, she made her way over and bent down pickign it up, her eyes skimmed over the words and she let out a sad sigh, walkign to her desk and grabbing a thick book she had been reading, she opened it up to a random page, folded the paper and shoved it in, then shut the book, walking away, with not so much as a blink of an eye, it was all to much for her, soon she'd be crying hysterically if she didn't get her mind off it, was walked to her window and sat on her window sheet staring out at the lawn, not noticing Shane that was sitting by the Gate.

Shane averted his gaze from the academy and stood up, the arm of the bench wasn't the most comfortable place to sit.. He looked down the road for the cab again, still nothing... Sitting down on the bench next to all his stuff, Shane just stared at the Ground, biting his lip even harder than before.

Maureen adverted her gaze to the gate, and bit her lip as she saw Shane, her heart sank to the it of her stomach, and she didn't know how to react, she just stared out the window and bit her lip holding back the small tears.

Shane sighed impatiently and looked at his watch... theyw ere at least 10 minutes late. He looked down the Road once more before pulling out his cellphone and Dialing the Cab companie's number.
"Hello...." The Drowsy operator answered.
"Hi, I called about 25 minutes ago for a Cab.. and They haven't come yet........." Shane replied and stood up.
"Name......?" The Operator asked.
"Shane grey" Shane replied, getting a little angry at this person.
"Please Hold" The lady said and hung up.
"No-Wa-!" Shane said, but was cut off by the Music starting to play on the other line. "oh brother.." He murmured to himself.

Maureen turned her back to the window and stared at the ground, a frown creasing her face, what was he up to?

Shane gave up and hung up the phone.. sitting back down, He rest his head on the back of the Bench and stared at the Sky. He was starting to get a bit impatient..

Finally Maureen made her way to the door, she opened it and walked out into the halls, then she hurriedly walked towards a back exit with stairs, she climbd down the stairs with much dificulty and made it to the exit. She swung the door open and stepped into the fresh air, breathing in a big gulp of it, then she let it out and looked around her eys restigont eh gate, she bit her lip and as fast as possible made her way towards it, stumbling a full time but not falling, she finally made it up to where Shane was and bit her lip. "So, this was the plan? You tell the principle that i was runnign away and a security cam gets trained on my door? Don't think i' stupid, i could tell by the look on your face after you came out of there and i can see that security cam." She said in a somewhat bitter voice.

Shane looked at Maureen and raised an eyebrow, standing up, he looked down and pulled his shirt down. "Yes.." He replied in a low tone, almost scared to make eye contact with her cause it'd make it harder to go..

Her face was still somewhat reed and tear stained. "You know what? I'm biggining to think that this relashionship isn't worth it, i've had so any heartbreaks that i' thincking twice," She swalloed hard and looked away fro him. "You go on..mak your life, get a job, i don't know find another girl. It's just...i...i" She broke into a sall fit of tears and stepped back, why was it so hard, all she had to do was think how wonderful no more heartbreaks would be, but somehow deep inside, she knew love wasn't always perfect and that it had it's bad moments. She felt like she was dragging him down, he should go do what he loves best, plays his guitar and make a living.

"Trust me I don't have much to look forward to" shane murmured in a very hard-to her voice, looking up finally, and Right at Maureen. "You couldn't even begin to understand how sorry I am.. and How much I Love you.." He said in a low tone. Just as he did so.. the Cab pulled up. He looked over at it and let out a soft sigh, grabbed Two boxes and a bag ontop, he opened the door and loaded them in the back. "Just..- just go back inside.." He said in a tone, Trying to Hide the Saddness he was Really feeling..

"If you love e then why won't you take me?" She asked through her tears as she stared at him. Hurt and sadness in her voice as she wipped her eyes and cheeks. She looked down at her shoes and let out a long shuddering, sad sigh.

"Its complicated" Shane replied and bit his lip, looking at the Taxi again, putting the last bag in.

"Ok. Coplicated. Why, i have time, and i' sure the cab woudln't ind waiting after you waited for hi." She said and sent a harsh look at the taxi saying that he better agree wit h her or else. (haha)

Shane instantly slammed the Door shut with so much force it made a sound that echoed through the entire academy property. He snapped his Gaze to Maureen, looking Completely Furious, and his eyes Shining more than usual, because they had small tears in them. "Just Stop!!" He snapped in a loud tone. "Do you Need You know Everything all the time?!" He asked in a Harsh tone. "you Have no clue How much I've been through, and How much I'm Going to go through!" He continued, His Jaw set.

Maureen was shocked, "i.u..ah.....er." Was all she could make out. She stepped back, tears finding there way down her cheeks. She breathed in deeply then looked away. "Bye." SHe said drly and turned walking back towards the academy, she regretted saying it already, but it was already said and done and couldn't be erased and taken back.

Shane balled his hand in a fist and kept his jaw set for only about 10 seconds.. He watched her start to leave, then started wiping the Angry look off his face. He looked down at his fist.. shocked at himself, he looked at Maureen again. "Maur- I-" He staggered in a voice he knew was too low to be heard.

Maureen just stopped. She had heard a voice but couldn't hear the words. Right now she didn't want to turn around her heart was officially broken into two pieces. She wipped her tears that had begun to coe harder and sniffled slightly, leaning fully on her crutches her leg now throbbing fro not being put up on pillows earlier.

"I- I'm so sorry.." Shane said in a bit of a Louder tone, not moving his gaze from Maureen.

"It's fine. I know i overreact." She said slowly turning, she was a pitiful sight, her mascara was running her cheels raw from the tears and her nose and eyes red. She bit her lip and looekd down her hair falling over her eyes. "I'm sorry to." She said quietly.
